Currently, we have a brand new rental fleet of full-suspension Rocky Mountain Instincts and Kona Big Honzo mountain bikes! We are also pleased to be able to offer a very nice selection of Kona e-bikes. Whether you want to tear up the trail or explore our local town and country roads, Epic Cycles will get you outfitted for adventure with our bike rentals. Walk-ins are welcome, but we do have limited rental fleet quantities, so if you are able, please give us a call ahead of time to check availability and make a reservation.

Think of a trail mountain bike as a jack of all trades. Because a good full suspension trail bike can do a bit of everything. It can climb, it can descend, it can flick through tight, flowy singletrack. Trail bikes are popular because they really are a “do it all” solution. Rocky Mountain totally redesigned the Instinct last year and it is quickly earning a reputation as one of the best trail bikes on the market. It’s safe to say that the Instinct not only climbs exceptionally well, but it’s a beast on the descents, too.

KONA BIG HONZO

A 27.5+ WHEELED VERSION OF OUR CLASSIC HONZO HARDTAILS 


Returning to the hardtail lineup is the beloved Big Honzo. Its classic  lines and low stand over have made it a favorite for all types of  riders. The Honzo had a lot of it’s research and design performed right here in the Pisgah National Forest. 130mm of front travel, 27.5+ tires, and hydraulic disc brakes, make this an absolute shredder.

KONA E-COCO & DEW-E

A beautifully designed, purpose built electric bike well suited to urban riding or commuting. The E-Coco has a step-thru frame for easy mounting and dismounting. Or if you choose you can ride the Dew-E for a more traditional frame bike. Powerful Shimano E-Steps motor offers more than enough power to help you up any hill in the area.
